Prawn Noodle

Prawn noodle is a Hokkien delicacy that is commonly found in Singapore. The most attractive part is the soup which is boiled in long hours with prawn shells, pork ribs, garlics, black soy sauce and spicies. Hence, most of the people will prefer to have the noodle in soup, although it also come in the dry version with the soup as side. For the dry version, fried shallots, soy sauce, chilli paste or ketup are added to the noodle.

The prawn noodles are commonly found served with thin slices of prawn, lean pork, bean sprouts. But you could also find the luxury version which they served with whole big prawn, pork ribs, pig tails or pig intestines.

Jalan Sultan Prawn Noodle is within walking distance from Kallang MRT Station. Over here, they only served the thick bee hoon, thick yellow noodle and kway tiao. The prawn noodle here are the luxury version where each bowl of noodle is minimum S$5.00. I always order prawn & pork rib noodle soup, as I like the pork rib as it is soft and tender. The soup is really tasty and you will surely finish up the soup till the last drop.
